Christian Paetz博士,德国马普化学生态所,终身职位研究员,现任生物合成与核磁共振研究组组长。

德国马克斯-普朗克化学生态所建于1996年,主要研究植物、动物及环境间相互作用过程中化学信号分子的功能。全所约400人,来自30余个国家。研究方向包括:分子生态学(Molecular Ecology)、生物化学(Biochemistry)、生物有机化学(Bioorganic Chemistry )、进化神经行为学( Evolutionary Neuroethology)和 动物学(Entomology)等。

2006年,德国马普化学生态所与耶拿大学和莱布尼兹天然产物与感染生物学所,合作成立了马普国际学校(IMPRS)面向全世界招收博士研究生。
